With a network of 2,261 school units and over 320,000 students currently enrolled, TCF continues to be a beacon of hope for underprivileged communities.
Through dedicated efforts, they have nurtured 71,000 graduates and maintain an impressive all-female faculty of 16,500 members, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for every learner. Beyond the classroom, their Aagahi Adult Literacy Program has empowered 293,000 learners, proving that it is never too late to pick up a pen.

Ghazala Alam
Ghazala Alam writes English and Urdu poetry, reflecting her experiences as a woman of color, an immigrant, and a practicing physician. She has recently published a book of her poems (On Being Human, Gatekeeper Press, 2024, ISBN No. 9781662937903). Each chapter in the book has a preamble in English, the English and Urdu versions of the poem, as well as an English transliteration of the Urdu poem.
